SMS Program Terms — E5 Enclave Incorporated
Last updated: September 15, 2026
E5 Enclave Incorporated ("E5 Enclave", "we", "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We use texting to stay in direct conversation with the people we serve — community members, coalition partners, and supporters.
These terms govern our text-messaging (SMS/MMS) program — how you opt in, what we send, how you opt out, and how your information is handled.
These terms cover texting only. Our website Terms of Service covers the website itself, and our Privacy Policy covers your personal information.
1. The program
When you opt in, you agree to receive text messages from E5 Enclave. Message types include:
- Automated acknowledgments when you text us;
- Replies from our team to your questions and requests;
- Occasional program or event updates about the specific topic you asked about — no more than 4 per month. We will never use your number to send updates about other programs.
Our texts come from (305) 257-8719 or (762) 362-5283. Every message identifies E5 Enclave as the sender. If you get a text claiming to be from us from any other number, treat it with caution.
2. How you opt in
You opt in through one of these methods — and only these methods:
- Texting us: you text a mobile number we publish on e5enclave.com or in our printed and digital materials. Wherever we publish the number, we also show: who is texting you (E5 Enclave), what kinds of messages you will get, how often, that message and data rates may apply, how to opt out (reply STOP), how to get help (reply HELP), and a link to our Privacy Policy. Texting that number means you agree to receive our texts.
- Verbal consent: you give your mobile number to an E5 Enclave team member and agree to receive texts. Before you agree, the team member tells you: who is texting you (E5 Enclave), what kinds of messages you will get and how often, that message and data rates may apply, how to opt out (reply STOP), how to get help (reply HELP), and where to find our Privacy Policy. You can ask the team member to repeat anything or write it down for you. Our team reads from a standard verbal opt-in disclosure script.
- Written consent: you provide your mobile number in writing, next to the same full disclosure list shown above, and agree to receive texts from E5 Enclave. See the written consent form.
We write down every verbal opt-in — the date and time, the number, the disclosures we gave, and the team member who recorded it — and we keep that record. If you ever question whether you consented, ask us and we will show you the record.
We never obtain consent through a third party, and we never purchase phone numbers. By opting in, you confirm this is your number (or you have the owner's permission to enroll it). Giving us your number is never a condition of receiving our services or support.
Right after you opt in, you get this confirmation:
"E5 Enclave: You're in. You'll get replies to your texts plus occasional program or event updates; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg&data rates may apply. Privacy: https://e5enclave.com/privacy.html"
3. Message frequency and cost
How often you hear from us depends on the conversation — when you text us, we reply. Program or event updates are capped at 4 per month (see §1). Most people receive no more than a few texts a month; an active back-and-forth with our team may mean more. There is no fixed schedule.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Check with your carrier if you have questions about your plan.
4. Opting out
You can stop receiving messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. (STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE, and STOPALL all work.)
You will receive one final confirmation, and then no further messages unless you re-subscribe. A message that was already on its way when we received your STOP may still arrive — that is not a new message from us. Replying STOP stops messages from all our numbers.
If you receive a message from us by mistake — a wrong number, or a number that used to belong to someone else — reply STOP and the messages will stop. You can also email [email protected] so we can correct our records.
You can also opt out by emailing [email protected] or calling (305) 967-0200 and asking us to stop texting you. We honor every opt-out, however you send it.
To re-subscribe, reply START.
5. Help
Reply HELP (or INFO) to any message and we will text you our contact information and how to opt out.
You can also email [email protected] or call (305) 967-0200.
6. Privacy
To run this program we keep your phone number, your name if you give it, and the contents of your messages so we can reply. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
In short: mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number and your consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Carriers and delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and your device; we cannot guarantee every message will arrive.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our program changes, and the current version is always posted here with its "Last updated" date. If we make a material change — to the kinds of messages we send, how often we send them, or your rights under these terms — we will text you a notice with a link to the new version before it takes effect. If you do not agree, reply STOP. If you keep participating after the notice, you accept the updated terms. Non-material changes (clarifications, corrections) take effect when posted.
