Israel Lee Armstead
President & Chief Visionary Officer · Founder
Born and raised in Liberty City, Miami. Two decades of executive leadership across luxury sales, hospitality, commercial insurance, and political finance — before founding the institution the lineage has always needed and never had.
Born of the Lineage. Schooled in the Corridor.
Israel Lee Armstead was born and raised in Liberty City, Miami — the same corridor that produced the grievances, the resistance, and now the remedy that E5 Enclave was built to deliver.
He graduated from Charles R. Drew K–8 Center in 2001 — a school where his grand-uncle, Ralph McCartney, served as a security guard during Israel's years in those halls. That fact is not footnoted. It is the foundation: a man guarding the door of a school that would one day bear his name, in a neighborhood where his nephew's nephew would grow up to build the institution that honors them both.
He attended Miami Northwestern Senior High School on the Gifted track, graduating in 2005 — the same school district, the same pipeline gap, the same Liberty City that the McCartney Academy is being built to close.
Before his career began in earnest, Israel was elected National Parliamentarian of his faith tradition's Youth Outreach Council at age eleven. At fifteen he served on the Usher's Board, Nurses Guild, and Vestry Board. At sixteen, he was a voting delegate to the African Orthodox Church's General Synod. The instinct for institution-building was not cultivated — it was native.
"The center holds. The work is underway."— E5 Enclave Founding Doctrine
Twenty Years of Executive Leadership.
Israel's professional career spans luxury automotive sales, hospitality management, commercial insurance underwriting, financial consulting, and national political finance — a range that trained every muscle he uses now. What others call a non-linear path, he calls a curriculum.

Top performance recognition. Aided in certification of colleagues.
Six years managing 200+ direct and indirect sales agents and team leads. Developed mandatory sales and marketing training for the entire department. Consistently achieved top bonus level.
Advised SMB owners across multiple markets on payment processing and profit strategy.
Underwrote commercial P&C risks for carriers including Markel, Scottsdale, RSUI, Western World, and Colony. Licensed Florida General Insurance Agent. Managed financial performance across assigned territory.
Oversaw GA&S operations of a boutique accounting and tax preparation firm. Established satellite offices in Texas and Nevada. Peer-selected Most Valuable Employee, 2017.
Managed a team of 12–20 sales professionals. Primary nightshift Driver.
National Director of Finance for the independent presidential campaign of Dr. Cornel West and Melina Abdullah.
Founded and built the organization from incorporation to operational agentic nonprofit. EIN 99-3822441.
The Institution the Work Has Always Needed.
E5 Enclave Incorporated was filed on June 30, 2024, in the state of Florida, as a nonprofit public charity. Israel is its founder, president, and chief visionary — and the architect of every structural decision made since inception.
The organizing logic is the Five Pillars: Environmental, Economic, Educational, Engagement, and Emancipated — a deliberate structure that mirrors the shape of the harm and names the shape of the remedy. Three centuries of unrecorded obligation became the blueprint. The Pillars became the plan.
On April 11, 2026, E5 Enclave declared itself the world's first agentic-first staffed nonprofit — an institution where AI agents operating under human direction produce institutional-scale output from a deliberately lean team built to outlast cycles. The model is not a novelty. It is a doctrine.
The flagship programs under Israel's direction include Lineage Farms / FarmBlock (cooperative urban agriculture with blockchain governance), McCartney Academy (a K–12 private school in foundation phase, named in honor of Ralph McCartney), Block to the Boardroom (the pipeline from neighborhood organizing to policy authorship), and Restitution 246 (the documented obligations of emancipation as a policy campaign).
Forensic Genealogy at Institutional Scale.
Israel is the subject of E5 Enclave's benchmark genealogical case file — a complete evidentiary record tracing six confirmed generations from Liberty City, Miami to the chattel slavery of antebellum Clarke County, Alabama. The file meets the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS) established by the Board for Certification of Genealogists.
The case file identifies Benjamin Armstead, born 1838, enslaved in Clarke County, Alabama — documented in the 1842 probate inventory of Capt. William Armistead. Six intervening generations connect Benjamin to Israel through primary-source census, vital, and court records. The chain of custody holds at every link.
That case file is now the proof of work for a forensic genealogy pipeline capable of producing GPS-standard case files in 90 minutes for tribal enrollment, citizenship, probate, reparations eligibility, and beyond. The pipeline was built because Israel needed it first — and because he understood that what one family needs is what thousands of families need.
Institutional Service Began Before His Career.
Israel's leadership record in governance began in his youth. At eleven, he was elected national parliamentarian of his faith tradition's Youth Outreach Council. At fifteen, he served concurrently on the Usher's Board, Nurses Guild, and Vestry Board. At sixteen, he served as a voting delegate to the African Orthodox Church General Synod.
He is a current Candidacy Member and former elected General Councilor of the Urantia Book Fellowship — one of a small number of individuals elected to represent that international readership body.
His grand-uncle, Ralph McCartney, served on the Miami-Dade County Public Schools board committee that watched Booker T. Washington High School phased out of existence. He gave oral history to the University of Florida's Samuel Proctor Oral History Program on August 14, 1997. Congresswoman Frederica Wilson knew him personally. The Educational pillar's flagship academy bears his name — and Israel is the reason it will be built in the same Liberty City corridor where Ralph stood guard.
