View archival hold →Claims are tiered. Tier 1 is verifiable primary record — official files, legislative acts, contemporaneous obituaries. Tier 2 is corroborated secondary and formal oral history, such as university oral-history programs. Tier 3 is family narrative and oral tradition, always labeled as such and never shown as established fact. Living elders receive consent, a review window, and vetted, cleared portraits before publication. We reject hagiography: real builders are recorded in full, including the debates around them.
